Andrija Kostić started from 22nd place in the second race of the Italian F4 championship at the Mugello circuit. Right from the beginning, during the first lap, Kostić made a significant jump, managing to move up and secure 16th position. In the fourth lap, a safety car was deployed due to an incident on the track.
The restart followed after two laps, and the Serbian driver took full advantage of the opportunity, reaching 14th place, which also positioned him third among rookies.
From that moment on, as the youngest competitor in the F4 category of the Italian championship, Kostić engaged in a battle with Maximilian Popov and Bett Jacks, ultimately finishing 13th overall. He maintained his third-place standing among debutants, marking his first podium of the year. To be fair, Kostić needed just a few more laps, as he was only tenths of a second away from overtaking two more competitors to secure 10th place and earn a point in the overall standings.
